ANYCon 2023 will be held September 1st and 2nd!

The Venue

ANYCon 2023 will be returning to the Albany Capital Center!

Let me be clear - we loved Pearl Street Pub. They were very accomodating, they went over and beyond our expectations, and a lot of people really loved the vibe there. With that said, there were clearly some space issues. Because of this, we'll be taking it back to the Capital Center and improving on the original formula, making some changes that we hope everyone will love.

To feed or not to feed?

We've spent a lot of time agonizing over the topic of providing food at the conference. There are a lot of pros and cons for each option, and everyone has their own very reasonable opinion.

The easiest option for us is to just forgo the food. There are plenty of incredible restaurants within walking distance to the conference center. The downside there is that our contract forbids us or attendees from bringing in outside food (so no delivery for people that don't want to leave for lunch).

We are working diligently to create connections with the many local restaurants and bars that Albany has to offer and will be publishing a list of participants who will provide discounts to ANYCon 2023 attendees who stop in for lunch or dinner… or drinks!
